Back in February I went on a trip to Toronto with a friend. I had a blast—Toronto is amazing! Loved everything about it, except for the constant blaring of car horns every time I was outside. Seriously, just yell or flip people off or something! Oh, and I even found a phone booth in a restaurant while I was there.
See? Isn’t it awesome?
The biggest downside was that Toronto is quite a long drive from here. 4-6 hours unable to charge any electronics, unable to use my cell, unable to take a nap because my friend would surely wake me… Wait! I could read!
And that was all the reasoning I needed to buy Noah Chinn’s newer work, Trooper #4.
Ah, Halloween. A time for scares, candy, costumes, and—wait, what do you mean it’s November? But I have a review for Halloween! That’s not fair! What am I… oh, yeah. It’s the internet and there are no deadlines. And it’s my blog, so I can totally post a late review.
Let me start off with a question: Do you like romance? What about the supernatural? Magic? A little bit of action? Maybe a dash of horror? Or mystery, I bet you like that, right? What if I told you there is a story out there that combines all of these into a relatively small novel?
So a while back I found myself desperate to spend some credit I had on Amazon. After much debate, many searches, and a touching soul-searching montage, I decided to go for a book. Not just any book mind you, but one written by a fellow member of The Spoony Experiment.
I’ve been wanting to get my hands on Mossfoot’s book, “Bleeding Heart Yard”, for some time now, and with everything said and done I now have it.
